32 camps have been organized to impart training for self employment trades where 506 people got benefited by these trainings. Under the agriculture and live stock productivity programme 839 people of 16 villages were benefited. 696 agriculture mini kit demonstrations were done, 6190 fruit plants were distributed & planted for the purpose of developing fruit gardens. 20 camps were organized to impart training in vermi culture compost making to the villagers. 230 farmers including women were trained under the programme. 860 families started kitchen gardening after being briefed about the technique and importance. 10 gardens of 372 Aanvla trees have been established for the economic development purpose. These few activities have been introduced in the tribal area to help the people to increase their income and thus be economically well off. A little financial help in this poise task will be a right investment. |
